Monorail scales

Description

The scales are provided for static weighing of half-carcasses transported by monorail. The scales are recommended for use in meat-processing plants.

METRA produces two types of monorail scales: M8000-M with 1 load cell (upper photo) and M8100-M with 2 load cells (lower photo). Loading area contains loading section which repeats monorail profile. The loading section is strongly fixed to the sensor, which another end is fastened to the frame. The frame is provided for loading area fastening to the ceiling or to the wall. Monorail profile can be flat or round. The sensor has cable connection with weight-measuring instrument equipped with U-shaped support. The support provides vertical or horizontal fastening of weight-measuring equipment.

Warranty period – 2 years.

Standard functions
  • Output of “gross”, “net”, “tare” values for indication;
  • tare weight selection and tare value key-in;
  • automatic and manual indication zeroing;
  • zero self-tuning;
  • accumulation and indication of resulting amount of several weighing processes;
  • automatic and manual “conservation” of weight indication;
  • weighing results printing;
  • PC-connection by means of galvanic isolated RS232 or RS485 at speed up to 9600baud.

Basic set

  • Loading area with 6-m cable;
  • Scale terminal “Microsim-0601”, model M0601-B. Height of indication symbols is 14 mm;
  • Basic software CD, containing the driver DevCom which provides basic set of communication functions, and examples of driver call from programs 1C, Access and other.

Scales benefits

  • Simplicity and serviceability;
  • Central aluminum sensor (Ì8100-Ì – two load cells);
  • No moving parts;
  • Wide operating temperature range (from -30 to +40 Ñ);
  • Protection from external factors due to powder enamel coating of the loading area.
Software: Driver DevCom provides basic set of communication functions:
  • It allows to setup connection,
  • To transfer operator’s commands to the scale terminal,
  • Receive and display weighing results, and also transfer them to the backup indicator panel (if any).
If you need to connect several scales to one PC using network bus RS485, you should use the driver "DEVNet", supplied on request.
