Control cabinet of continuous batcher

Control of continuous batcher.

Designation It is provided for control of bulk batching transported by conveyor. Batching is carried out by means of continuous weighing. PID-regulator provides the set productivity. Productivity change is executed by means of conveyor belt speed change.

Benefits

  • Wide range of conveyor belt speed values for set productivity provision.
  • Built-in PID-regulator.
  • simplicity and serviceability.
  • Autonomous running mode and running under computer control.
  • information exchange with PC using “current loop” - 4-20 mÀ interface and RS-485.
  • wide operating temperature range (from -30 to +40 Ñ).
  • protection from external factors due to powder enamel coating.
  • Warranty period – 2 years.

Description: The control cabinet – is a microprocessor-based device. It has inputs for load cells, speed sensor and belt tailing sensor connection. Material moving on the conveyor belt is continuously weighed and belt speed is measured during operation. Based on obtained data the controller calculates current batcher output, and, if necessary, changes belt speed to eliminate set value deviation. The control cabinet has a digital indicator and also analogous and interface outputs for upper-level automatic control system connection. Up to 31 units can be simultaneously connected to the computer, and a network can be created.

Working modes:

  • “autonomous” – batching with values entry from the controller;
  • “complex” – batching with values entry from the computer;
  • “setting up” – adjustment and calibration.

Standard functions

  • indication of shipped mass counter, current output, counting time, linear density, belt speed values;
  • remote transfer of current productivity values (or linear density values) as a DC signal 4-20mÀ;
  • current parameters transfer via serial interface RS485;
  • error display.

Driver DevCom provides basic set of communication functions. DevCom allows to setup connection, to transfer operator’s commands to the scale terminal, to read and display weighing results, and also to transfer them to the backup panel (if any). It also has the same functions if DevCom is started from the user application (examples are enclosed).

If you need to connect several scales to one PC using network bus RS485, you should use the driver "DEVNet", supplied on request.

Configuration

  • conveyor strain-gauge meter "Ì0600-Ê6";
  • controller of the continuous batcher "Ì1600-Í";
  • power source for "Ì0600-Ê6" and "Ì0600-Í";
  • relay block;
  • frequency converter "Mitsubishi";
  • informational lamps and switches;
  • manual control panel.
