Conveyor weight-measuring instrument Ì0600-Ê6
Designation:
The instrument is used as a component of conveyor scales and continuous batchers with variable or constant belt speed. It is provided for automatic measuring and indication of main operating parameters of conveyor scales:
- Shipped mass counter;
- current output;
- counting time;
- linear density;
- conveyor speed;
- belt speed displacement (if adjusted).
|
Moreover, it is provided:
- remote transfer of current productivity values (or linear density values) as a DC signal 4-20mÀ;
- control signals about set values exceeding (amount of shipped mass and output/linear density threshold);
- current parameters transfer via serial interface RS485.
Description: The instrument provides direct connection to strain-gauge bridge sensors without additional couplings. Number of simultaneously connected sensors (with resistance of each equal to 350 Ohm) is up to four (Rmin = 80 Ohm).
The instrument has an indicator, control keyboard, galvanic isolated inputs/outputs, joints:
- for load cell connection,
- for speed sensor connection,
- interface RS485 (for PC connection),
- interface MS-bus (for continuous controller connection).

** Sensors are connected in parallel, at that circuit input resistance should be not less than 80 Ohm.
A set for cabinet installation is supplied separately on request.
Device and principle of operation
The instrument principle of operation is based on resistive-strain sensor and pulse sensor signals transformation in a digital code, which is processed by microprocessor using a program recorded in a permanent memory.
The instrument has two major modes: “CALIBRATION” and “OPERATION”.
- In “CALIBRATION” mode strain-gauge channel is adjusted.
- In “OPERATION” mode, the instrument continuously measures load cell signals, speed sensor signal and calculates mass of shipped material and output.
During operation the instrument continuously monitors signals condition and displays errors, if necessary.
The instrument is supplied by power supply adapter made as a plug.
The instrument has a cast aluminum case. At the front panel there are light indicators, indicator panels and control buttons. At the rear cover there are joints for load cell, speed sensor and interfaces connection.
