Load cell signal simulator Ì0401
The M0401 Load cell imitator (transducer simulator) is a compact, hand-held electronic microcontroller-based unit with unique features.
It was designed for use in testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating digital weigh indicators and systems.
The M0401 Load cell imitator simulates load cells outputs in the range -3.1 mV/V to + 3.1 mV/V. The signal output is increased or decreased either via the front panel keypad or by simple ASCII-protocol by RS-232C interface.
The M0401 can be used in developing purposes as a part of computer-based system. Signal changing can be made under software control. Ideal for batch-software testing and developing. You can once record signal changing function of a real batch cycle and save it into a computer file, than "play" it on the M0401 via RS-232C interface.

Using of Load Cell imitator M0401 as real-time simulator of batching/weighihg process.
FuncM0401 - software for M0401
FuncM0401 is a Windows-based software which automate your work with the M0401 imitator via serial link RS232. Weighing or batching process can be expressed as a time-dependent function of load cell signal changing, f(t).
Also, we can describe this function f(t) point-by-point with required accuracy as a table, then save it to file, load it from file, edit and etc. This table can be uploaded into M0401 via serial interface RS232 and then ”played” by request a few times in real-time mode. When M0401 execute this ”table-driven script” it’s internal firmware perforn line-interpolation to calculate intermediate points of f(t) with high accuracy.
This feature allow modelling wide range of real weighing and batching processes and can be used as a test source for automation systems. You have no need in real loading your scales, just play with M0401.
For, example, we used this feature when develop weighing-in-motion scales.
