Car scales installation

Loading area is installed at the foundation. Foundation structure is determined with ground features at scales seating.

Local railway

The scales are installed at straight section of railway with extension not less than 50m at each side. Slope of straight sections of local railway and loading area should not be more than 1:1000.

Construction work

Before construction works, the building (design) company develops a foundation project subject to the local conditions on the basis of construction assignment provided by LLC RPE METRA (scales manufacturer).

Construction work includes:

• Railway dismantling.
• Ground excavation and pit preparation.
• Making of forms, production and placing of bars and embedded items.
• Concrete works.
• Installation and concreting of entry sections and interim section.
• Cable routing from scales to the weighing station.

Scales installation, adjustment, calibration

Scales installation is carried out under supervision of LLC RPE METRA specialist in compliance with installation specification included in maintenance documents.

Equipment necessary for installation:

• Crane with carrying capacity not less than 5 tons.
• Jacks.
• Electric arc welding instrument.
• Acetylene-oxygen or similar torch.

Scales calibration and testing are carried out by means of weight-testing car and reference weights with accuracy rating М1 GOST 7328-2001.
