Truck scales retrofit
Since June 2006 RPE "Metra" produces and sales new range of truck scales - Truck scales "Optimum". In base case the scales are delivered without intermediate deck. The scales have dismountable structure, scales transportation does not require special transport.

Truck scales retrofit is carried out to increase scales life time, to reduce operational costs and to improve functionality due to lever-measuring system replacement with tensometric system.
Truck scales retrofit means mechanical measuring system replacement with strain-gauge system, at that existing platform and foundation are kept, or foundation is extended and platform is replaced. Concrete bearings, that work as a base for existing scales bed, are lengthened. Built-in joints with load cells are installed on the bearings that support the platform. Pointer indicator is also replacedwith digital unit MICROSIM, which allows to carry out the following actions:
- tare mass selection and tare input from keyboard;
- automatic and manual indication zeroing;
- Accumulation and indication of total of several weighing processes and sum output;
- automatic and manual printing of weighing results, "freezing" of indications.
Microsim is equipped with galvanically isolated serial port for RS485, RS232-C and printer port connection.
In addition, the delivery set can include special software program ASNet, which provides stock-taking of weighed freight, drawing-up and printing of reports, data import to 1C software.
Variety of built-in joint structures and load cell types allow to select the most rational version of equipment retrofit.
Depending on specific customer's preferences and operating conditions of weight-measuring equipment, retrofit can be based on two types of load cells: "multi-column" or "double ended shear beam" load cells.
